Paul John Single Malt Whisky Madeira Select Cask 48% 0.7L

From the sun-kissed shores of Goa, this unpeated single malt is finished in Madeira casks and carries a deep mahogany hue. The nose is vibrant and fruit-led — rich cherry, plum sauce, manuka honey, sweet peach and orange zest, laced with caramel pudding and a dash of chocolate. The palate is sweet and creamy, built on luscious ripe tropical fruits with hints of salted caramel and warm roasted nuts, before a complex, full-bodied finish with crisp oak.

Bottled alongside the Port as one of the two most recent additions to the Select Cask range, the Madeira takes the same tropical Goan maturation in a rounder, more confectionary direction. It was awarded Silver at the International Wine and Spirits Competition 2025, with a score of 93 points.
