The Icons of Campbeltown series is a tribute to the community that carried Glen Scotia through history. Its inspiration is the Market Cross — a meeting point for celebration and storytelling, its stone face carved with saints and beasts — and each release recalls a tale of that shared spirit. To bring these figures to life, we have partnered with the artist Joel Holzman, whose work spans Lucasfilm, Marvel and Disney, to produce the design that adorns the packaging for the series.

Release No.3, the third chapter in the series, is dedicated to the wolf — a creature that has long stirred the imagination and given rise to tales of the Scottish Wulver. In its honour we present a 12 year old unpeated single malt, finished for nine months in the finest Tawny Port casks. The maritime character of Glen Scotia runs through layers of roasted nuts, ripe forest fruits and caramel, deepened by the richness of the port. The nose offers juicy forest fruits, candied nuts and crisp red apple wrapped in caramel sweetness; the palate unfolds in dried fig, orange peel and smooth praline; the finish lingers on dark cocoa and dried fruits, with gentle vanilla and warming oak spice.
