Introducing the Remarkable Stills Series Release No. 3, a truly exceptional offering of a 47-year-old single malt whisky. Limited to just 200 bottles available worldwide, this remarkable spirit showcases the mastery of our unique Straight Neck pot stills.

Distilled in 1974, this liquid embarked on its extraordinary journey in refill American Oak casks. After maturing for an impressive 43 years, it was then transferred into 2nd fill Oloroso Sherry casks, adding a delightful complexity of dried, tropical fruits that beautifully complement the distillery’s signature orchard fruit characteristics crafted by our Remarkable Stills.

The Remarkable Stills series is home to some of the distillery’s oldest and rarest spirits, serving as a testament to the alchemy and engineering behind Loch Lomond’s whisky-making process.

This particular release showcases the essence of our craftsmanship. The spirit is crafted from 100% unpeated malt, carefully distilled in our Straight Neck pot stills. These stills grant us unparalleled control during distillation, allowing us to collect the spirit at a higher strength. This distinctive approach results in a characterful fruitiness that has become synonymous with the Loch Lomond Distillery and takes center stage in this remarkable expression.
