Part of Hibernia Distillers’ Hyde range, No.5 Áras Cask features a 6 year old single grain Irish whiskey. This unique expression has undergone a period of finishing in casks previously graced with Burgundy wine, infusing the whisky with an unmistakable sweetness. Nose: Delight in aromas of strawberries, cherries, intertwined with soft waves of brown sugar. Palate: The palate introduces flavours akin to iced buns, accompanied by the warmth of cinnamon, the brightness of grapefruit and a delicate hint of vanilla. Finish: Concludes with an elegant combination of dried fruit and mocha richness, ensuring a memorable and satisfying close.
