Armorik Single Cask 16 Years Old stands proudly as the oldest whisky ever released by our esteemed distillery. Carefully drawn from cask n°3308, its journey began in bourbon casks from December 2004 to August 2008. Subsequently, it briefly rested in Breton oak casks from August 2008 to October 2008, before embarking on a 12-year-long maturation in Sherry casks, hidden away in the silence and darkness of our cherished cellars.

With this extraordinary Armorik Single Cask 16 Years Old, crafted from one of the oldest casks in our collection, we aim to share a precious moment from the distillery’s history. To celebrate the uniqueness of this exceptional whisky, each bottle is numbered and adorned with a distinctive label reminiscent of oak aging rings.

Nose: The nose boasts a captivating richness and power. The age of the whisky reveals itself through enticing notes of old brandy and woody aromas. Subtle hints of exotic fruits emerge, accentuated by a delicate touch of lavender. With time, the fruitiness transforms, evoking the essence of ripe melon coated in resinous honey. A faint, wispy touch of smoke beautifully complements the overall bouquet.

Palate: The palate offers a syrupy experience, where the fruitiness of mango and flamed banana takes center stage, followed by intriguing notes of waxed parquet. An intense burst of orange marmalade stands out in the background, adding a delightful layer of complexity.
