Building upon the success of our Armorik 10-year-old, we proudly unveil the full extent of possibilities offered by the numerous casks stored in Lannion. As the first 15-year-old French Whisky and presented in a limited annual edition of 1500 bottles, Armorik 15 years old proudly becomes the second bottling in our range with an age statement. This exceptional expression bears testament to our expertise and two-decade-long mastery in the art of maturation.

Bottled at 46%, Armorik 15 years old undergoes a captivating journey of maturation, spending 9 years in Bourbon casks before gracefully transitioning to Sherry Oloroso casks for an additional 6 years. “With age, Armorik 15 years old acquires an elegant, aromatic fullness, while still retaining the characteristic fruity freshness of our distillate.”

Nose: The nose exudes a captivating richness and intensity, characterized by ripe exotic fruits such as mango and passionfruit. The maturity of the whisky is evident through the presence of rancio and varnished wood aromas. Subtle sweet notes follow, with peach, honey, caramel, and dried apricot. The sensory journey culminates with a delicate touch of cumin and fine hints of peat.

Palate: On the palate, the whisky delivers a delightful interplay of sharpness and sweetness. The initial burst of fresh fruits, including ripe pear and banana, evolves into a delightful sweetness reminiscent of honeyed candy and exotic fruits. Peppery and spicy notes of clove and cinnamon elegantly enhance the fruitiness.

Finish: The finish is impressively long and invitingly warm, oscillating between spicy and subtly smoky notes.
