Tasting note: Amarone from the region, Sognum is made from semi-dry grains, which concentrate fruit flavors and add richness to give it a more robust flavor profile. Sixteen months in oak barrels give more complexity by softening the mouth, and also give a nice accent of vanilla and spices. This is a very tasty cabernet!
Pairings: pairing with meat pasta sauces – Bolognese – tomato-based stews, grilled beef ribs.
