Tasting note: It has pleasant aromas of strawberry, cherry and plum with notes of leather, autumn leaves and Asian spices. In the mouth it is vibrant, fruity and slightly tannic. Campolieti means “happy fields” and refers to the vines from which the grapes are harvested. The wine is a traditional blend of the Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grape varieties that has had a second fermentation in the pressing of the Amarone grape (a process called “ripasso”).
