About this bottle
rought together by the master blender, Michael Henry, Loch Lomond Inchmoan 12 celebrates the soft character of Loch Lomond’s style, skillfully blending whisky from the unique Straight Neck stills and the more traditional Swan Neck Stills.
Aged in three types of American Oak casks, Loch Lomond Inchmoan emphasizes and accentuates soft smoke, showcasing the warming spice elements that define the distillery’s signature style. With captivating wood and peat smoke notes, the whisky exhibits roasted coffee, green apple, clove, and aniseed spice on the finish. Bottled at 46% and non-chill filtered to preserve the natural essence of the whisky. Tasting Notes:
Nose: The nose delights with dry peat smoke, complemented by notes of vanilla syrup and cracked black pepper.
Taste: The palate offers a sweet, medicinal peat character, entwined with hints of smoked bacon. Roasted coffee bean flavors emerge, accompanied by spicy notes of clove and star anise. The warming spiciness beautifully combines with the essence of green apple and pear.
Finish: The finish is remarkably long, featuring waxy peat notes, a touch of citrus hop, and a delightful hint of gooseberry. The enchanting combination of flavors leaves a lasting impression on the palate.
