About this bottle
This single malt whisky hails from the renowned Loch Lomond distillery, known for its diverse range of whisky styles and brands.
Named after the flamboyant 19th-century chief of Clan MacDonell of Glengarry, Alexander Ranaldson MacDonell—who appears on the label—this expression is aged for 12 years.
Matured in a combination of bourbon barrels, refill casks, and re-charred casks, it offers a delicate and well-balanced profile. Expect light, smooth notes of malt, apples, vanilla, toffee, floral hints, orange, pineapple, and a subtle touch of barrel char.
A refined and approachable Highland whisky with excellent harmony.
