About this bottle
A bold twist on the beloved Glen Scotia Double Cask, Double Cask Rum Finish is an adventurous, mouth-watering dram for those eager to explore new horizons.
Finished in Guyanese demerara rum casks, this expression delivers an exotic, tropical character. Initially matured in the finest American oak barrels, the whisky develops rich layers of cooked sugar, molasses, and vibrant tropical fruits. Inspired by Campbeltown’s storied past as a bustling Victorian port—with global trade routes bringing barrels of rum to its shores as early as 1815—this release pays homage to that international legacy.
Double Cask Rum Finish captures the essence of Campbeltown: a meeting of diverse influences, united to create something extraordinary. As a sibling to the ever-popular Double Cask, this single malt offers a sweet, tropical reinterpretation of a classic profile.
