We sell bottles from private cellars in our online timed auctions, alongside our own stock. Single malts, closed distilleries, limited releases, old cognac, armagnac and calvados, complete sets. Bottles are sold by whisky.ad in its own name; your identity is never disclosed.
How it works
- Request a free valuation. Send us the details and three photos with the form below. We reply within two working days with an estimate and a proposed reserve, with no obligation.
- Agree the terms. Estimate, confidential reserve and commission are confirmed in a short consignment agreement that you sign. Our commission is 10% of the hammer price, plus 1.5% loss-and-damage cover while the bottles are with us. Photography and cataloguing are included.
- Deliver the bottles. Bring them to the shop at C. Dr. Nequi 9, Andorra la Vella, or we arrange collection in Andorra. From the moment we receive them, they are stored, insured and photographed by us.
- Catalogue and marketing. Each bottle is listed as a lot with photographs of label, fill level and capsule, an estimate and a condition note, and promoted to our registered bidders and collector mailing list.
- The auction. Lots are sold in our online timed auction to the highest bidder at or above the reserve. You can follow the bidding live.
- Settlement. We pay you the hammer price less commission and charges within 14 days of the buyer’s payment. Unsold lots are re-offered at a reduced reserve by agreement, or returned to you free of charge.
