Situated at the northern terminus of Loch Lomond near Tarbet, the inception of the Loch Lomond Distillery dates back to 1814. However, the present-day iteration of the distillery emerged in 1965, courtesy of the former proprietors of the Littlemill Distillery, nestled a few miles from Glasgow.

The custodianship of the distillery rests in the capable hands of Master Blender Michael Henry. Raised adjacent to two distilleries, Michael’s ardor for the craft of distillation and whisky brewing ignited in his formative years. Since 2014, he has held the role of Master Blender at the Loch Lomond Distillery.

In a partnership with “The Open,” the preeminent international golf championship renowned as “The One,” Loch Lomond Distillery has taken its place. Spanning five continents with qualifying events, this championship celebrates its 150th anniversary. The illustrious “Home of Golf,” St. Andrews’ Old Course, serves as the stage for this homage, commemorated by this bottling.

Matured within American oak casks for a decade, this whisky bears witness to a remarkable transformation.

Tasting Notes: Appearance: Radiant amber. Aroma: Fruit-forward and intricate, characterized by apple, vanilla, and oak. Palate: A creamy and harmonious sensation, adorned with succulent apples, vanilla, and a delicate oak essence. Finish: Lingering and enduring.
